Lab Rescued From Freezing Water – This Will Melt Your Heart!

On February 2, 2015 in Frankfort, Michigan, a rescue team from the US Coast Guard swam 200 meters in icy water to save this lucky Lab’s life.

Sources say that the Coast Guard was having a meeting Tuesday and one of the team happened to look out the window and see a Lab jump into the channel between Lake Michigan and Betsie Lake.

According to reports, the Coast Guard rescue team swam out to rescue the dog through the very icy water. Watch the video below of the rescue:

The dog was taken to the Animal Welfare League of Benzie County and fortunately the owner has been found!
